The 2008 annual meeting of the Southeast Quail Study Group will be held July 15 - 18 in Lafayette, LA. The meeting site will be the Lafayette Hilton Hotel. The steering committee meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 15. The general and committee meetings will be Wednesday, July 16 and Thursday, July 17. A field trip will be on Friday, July 18 featuring coastal prairie restoration, local agriculture and Cajun Culture. Lafayette is located about 1 hour west of Baton Rouge. Commercial air service is available to Lafayette as well as Baton Rouge.
Continental, American, Delta, and Northwest all have service to Lafayette. The Hilton Hotel offers a shuttle service to the Lafayette Airport. Baton Rouge is about a 1-hour drive from Lafayette and may offer more options as far as flight schedules. Shuttle service is not available to Baton Rouge.
The registration fee covers all meals beginning with the Tuesday night social through lunch on Thursday. Lunch will be provided on the Friday field trip.

Tuesday, July 15: Steering committee meeting and welcome reception
Wednesday, July 16: General session, committee meetings, awards banquet
Thursday, July 17: Committee meetings, general session, business meeting
Friday, July 18: Field trip (field trip will conclude at the hotel by 2 p.m.).
